Match Report Press Report

Lee-on-Solent 1 Lost to Winchester 1.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 56 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Alfie Lawes, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 92 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Jon Foster.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 2 string, Jared Carter, gaining 70 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Jared Carter, who over-turned a 283 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
